Lisa Olivia Munn, born July 3, 1980, is an American actor. After an internship at a local news station in Tulsa the state of Oklahoma, she moved to Los Angeles where she began her career as a host for the gaming channel G4 and mainly on the show Attack of the Show! From 2006 through the year 2010. From 2010 until the year 2011, she was a correspondent for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. She is most famous for her three-season-long portrayal as Sloan Sabbith on Aaron Sorkin's HBO political drama series The Newsroom (2012 - 2014).


Munn's other acting credits include a recurring role on the television show Beyond the Break (2006--2009) and supporting parts in comedy films Big Stan (2007) and Date Night (2010), superhero films Iron Man 2 (2010) and Steven Soderbergh's comedy drama Magic Mike (2012). She starred as Psylocke in Deliver Us from Evil (2014), a supernatural horror film as well as the comedy Mortdecai (2015). In 2017, she lent the voice of Koko in The Lego Ninjago Movie, and also appeared on the History Channel series Six (2017). She was the main character in The Predator, a science thriller about the fourth Predator film.
