Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Her most famous role is playing Tara Maclay from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the main actress in these films. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was the younger child of Edward Benson and Diane Benson. Benson was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on 8 January 1977. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is an accomplished artist. Her father, Benson's was Jewish, and while her mother was Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Benson was raised in Alabama and went to the Reform community in Alabama. Benson has appeared featured in a variety of TV and film shows after Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar. In the background, she used her writing abilities into her Ghosts of Albion series and was the director on shows like 2010's Drones.
