Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who grew as a child within Orange County. Her breakthrough came in acting when she graduated from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Following a few appearances on NCIS and Leverage Pernas was offered the role of Marisa Sierras on The Young and the Restless. It was her turn to play Catalina on Jane the Virgin after she left the soap opera. The model speaks four different languages.
