Zoe Saldana is an American actor and dancer who rose to fame with her high-profile role in blockbuster movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean. Star Trek Star Trek Into Darkness, Avatar and The Curse of the Black Pearl. Saldana started out as an amateur stage artist. She has been trained as a ballet dancer. She performed in numerous plays in the company of FACES and New York Youth theatre group before making an entry into the cinema world by directing the film Center Stage. To date, Saldana has enjoyed great popularity with a selection of worldwide highest grossing films in her kitty. The versatility of her work gives her an edge over the other actresses in her generation. Saldana does not limit herself to one genre.
