Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American actor, voice actress, director producer, and singer. Beautiful, intelligent and talented actor, she's an model for Asian actors who are aspiring to make it big in Hollywood. An early string of success appearances in popular television series led to her becoming well-known for her part in the character in Ally McBeal, where she was Ling Woo. After her popularity, she was offered important part for her in Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. Around the same time she also played leading roles in several box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films, such including Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Small screen roles such as Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield positive results. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama series Southland allowed her to regain her status as an established actress. Liu chooses her roles with care so that she doesn't get stereotyped in an industry with a lot of competition. While she embraces her roots but it doesn't mean she has to be in her work in the field of art.
