Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an Argentinean of Scottish and English descent is her mother. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's previous marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and after which they moved to the Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult and she was not able to learn English in hopes of going back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in drama productions. After 16 she quit school in order to pursue acting as a career. Taylor-Joy always wished to be an actor. At the age of 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to be a model.
