Debbie Gibson was a successful pop artist who reached prominence in the late 80s. She was overshadowed by newer music artists but continued to make her own music. Gibson was born on 31 August 1970 on Long Island. Her heritage includes German and Italian along with a tiny amount of Russian. Her parents are Diane as well as Joseph Gibson and she has three sisters. As a child, she took piano lessons with Morton Estrin.
